How to get your website on the first page of Google
Okay, let’s do this in real time and let’s track a website go from non-existent to page 1.
Let’s call this the “Texas Mortgage Project”. Because sometimes seeing is believing, right? Aren’t we all a little more like Thomas than we care to admit???? :) I’m going to show you all how I literally take a website from non-existent, getting no traffic, to getting leads. Will it happen over-night? Nope. Will it happen if i remain diligent?
Yes.
Okay, here the rules, here is how you do it:
Have a solid URL-remember, that means having a URL address that has the keywords you’re going for. Since I’m a mortgage guy I’ve launched http://www.texasmortgageassociates.com.
Can you quess the keywords I’m mostly after: “Texas Mortgage Rates” Why? Because that’s what people typically google when they are looking for a mortgage company.
SEO the website. This is where we do things like title tags, word press blogs, categories…blah blah blah. This takes around a day to do. Or we can do it for you. But you’re best bet is to use one of our Word press Templates-because our Templates come completely turn-key, ready to go.
All you have to is update it. This will run you around $500-$750.
Update the Website a lot. And I mean A LOT with quality content that people will actually want to read. No black hat stuff. You’re a professional so be professional. Google says it best “Content is king.” The better your content the better your website will perform.
That’s it….SEO isn’t hard. It just takes patience and time. It’s not a one-time event, it’s a process. It more like growing a garden than running a lawn mower.
So where are we starting for http://www.texasmortgageassociates.com?? Check this out….
notice TexasMortgageAssociates.com is the second one (organic) on the 9th page.
PAGE 9 baby!!!!!
But consider there are 35 MILLION other websites competing for this keyword phrase.
I think I had less competition when I was a little sperm swimming my way to get born!
Wish me luck! :)
