If you recall I started the “Texas Mortgage Project.”  This is where I show you all-in real time-how to get your websites to start showing up on Google for free.  I’m basically taking a website from ground zero and moving it to the first page of Google.

Will it happen overnight?  Nope!

Will it happen?  Yes, I’ve done it before!

Back to the Texas Mortgage Project:

Remember, I launched http://www.texasmortgageassociates.com and if I recall correctly I finally showed up on PAGE 300 or something.  It’s a beginning, right!?  Well, today I got my first organic hit…..this means, somebody did a Google search and actually found me at http://www.texasmortgageassociates.com. 

Yeah!!

Did they do a lead?  No, but this hit indicates our organic efforts are working.  Again, Mortgage SEO is not an event it’s a process.   If fact, all organic SEO takes time!

Take a look at the hit, notice what they did.  What do I do with this information….I analyze it and begin to blog/update my website with information relative to what’s already working.

Another SEO TIP is this:  Track your results, notice what’s working and notice what’s not.  Build on what’s working.  Stop doing what’s not working.
