Texas Search Engine Optimization Tips
Most businesses just need a simple, pretty website that says “this is who we are-call us.” If this is you, just go to godaddy.com get a domain and buy on of their website’s template and you’ll be up and running.
However, if you’re ready to make your website a source of revenue or actually contribute to your bottom line, produce leads–then this is article is for you.
How to make your business website produce leads!
Let’s make things super simple and break the website’s function’s into 2 phases:
First, a potential client must FIND (first step) your business out of thousands of like-websites, then, step 2, a potential client must be engineered in a way where you can capture some information from them.
Otherwise, how do you know if your website is working?
Phase 1: They got to find you
Phase 2: They must do something on your website where you learn about them.
In short your website must produce a lead, make a phone call, email
For example, I run a Texas mortgage company and I’ve recently I’ve decided to really focus on those who want to refinance their homes. One keyword phrase I’ve really gone after (phase 1) is “Texas mortgage refinance” business.
So if you google “Texas Mortgage Refinance” or some other similar keyword phrase-you’ll find www.mylendingplace.com, hopefuly on the first page of Google!
By the way, if you don’t know what keywords you need to concentrate-call us!
So phase 1 is getting a customer to your website.
Phase 2: Converting the potential client into a lead, a phone call, an email. Something. Because this is the true purpose of a website: To accomplish some goal that makes you money. And the best way for them your website to make you money is to introduce you to a potential client who needs your business.
For most businesses this goal is “I want my website to bring in new business; produce new sales leads.”
Now that you know the 2 phases it makes it easier to digest all this website optimization jargon. There are NO seo companies that have an inside hotline to Google. When people say SEO: most of thier work is dedicated to either phase 1 or phase 2.
But now tht you know the 2 phases perhaps one day focus on phase1-get in-bound links to your websites, add content, write article with anchor texts, updating content….all these activities are Phase1 activities.
Then the next day focus on Phase 2: Making your website capture content or making your website more “sticky” so that it produces leads. If you would like a clearer idea how I capture mortgage leads (phase 2), just visit www.dallaslending.com or www.mylendingplace.com and notice how I have my phone number at the top of the page. and I have lead-capturing leadb-bots.
If you don’t know how to create the lead-bot, call us and we’ll do it for you. But if you don’t have any money and can’t afford to hire us– make sure you update your website everyday and have your phone number and email all over the place. Something as simple as this could double your leads. Do YOU have your phone number at the top of the your website?
Phase 1 w/o Phase 2 gets you nothing. Phase 2 (lead capture) without a visible website (phase 1) gets you nothing.
Call us–we’d love to work with you. We are affordable! 200-300/month. Unless you have some super-complicated web needs.
