SEO is not that hard.  You just have to break it down into three simple groups of activities. 

 Much like a person gets into physical shape by breaking their goals into bite-size parts and working on each part consistently-the same is for SEO.

Again, SEO takes time.  It doesn’t happen overnight.   If you need leads tomorrow you’re better off buying leads from someplace.   Because SEO takes time.  But if you’re ready to start growing your own lead garden let’s talk turkey :)

How do you get in shape physically?:   Well, someone might do cardio one day, core the next and weight training the next.  Sure, there’s more to these activities but sometimes the KISS method is the best.  Keep it Simple…..

Remember, the collective efforts is where you’ll see results.

Just take one of these groups of activities and only do one thing per day.   KISS…and over time your collective efforts will show results.

SEO ACTIVITY #1 Backlinks, backlinks, backlinks.  

This is when you get links to your website form some other place. 

SEO ACTIVITY #2 “On site” SEO. 

This is when you’re doing something to your site to make it rank better, or perform better.  Adding content, making it nav better, adding a wordpress blog, creating landing pages are all things to make a site rank better or perform better.  Pruning old content, getting rid of old bad links, making your URLs cleaner.  

SEO ACTIVITY #3 “Off Site” SEO.  

 This is when you’re doing something away from your physical site (hence “off site”) to make website perform better.   

While this might include backlinks sometimes off site SEO might include:  launching an entirely sepearate site that compliments your current “mothership” site, making a Youtube video, commenting on another person’s website (with a live link) back to your website.  

 Backlinks are soooo important yet backlinks need to be done intelligently and wisely.  

Linking back from a link farm is not something you want.
